Style Icons through the decades

I received an email today informing me of an exciting exhibition taking place at the National Portrait Gallery on style icons through the decades. The exhibition is called Glamour of the Gods and is showcasing career-defining images of some of Hollywood's greatest names from the industry's 'Golden Age', the period 1920- 1960.

The exhibition features more than 70 photographs of the likes of Great Garbo, Audrey Hepburn and Marilyn Monroe in some of their most iconic poses. The images are drawn from the archive of the John Kobal Foundation and really demonstrate photography's decisive role in creating and marketing the stars central to Hollywood.

The exhibition is now on and lasts until October so you have plenty of time to get down there and check them out. Tickets are only £5 as well so it is most definitely worth a visit.
