Wrap it up

Now that Winter is finally here, I have to admit I am loving all the warm and cosy items that are hitting the rails of retailers everywhere. What has been particularly catching my eye over the past few weeks is the eclectic mix of patterned shawls that are lining the window displays of every retail outlet. Whether you are a fan of tartan, leopard, aztec or check, there is a statement shawl available to suit every fashionista's individual style and taste.

What I particularly like about shawls is that they can really finish a simple outfit and create a real statement look and there is so much choice around that you could have one for everyday of the week if you like. All at very affordable prices, I am most certainly tempted to snap up a few for my winter wardrobe collection. I like to pair mine with a a statement belt and fedora hat to complete the look.
