Capsule holiday wardrobe for a 7 day break

When shopping for your capsule summer holiday wardrobe the key is opting for bright summery colours that complement your sun-kissed skin, Tropical or floral prints to give you that summery feel and loose, relaxed-fitting items that will leave you feeling comfortable, cool, calm, collected and chic rather than hot, sweaty and irritable.

When shopping for my capsule wardrobe, I don't go for overly dressy items but more relaxed items that can be worn with strappy wedges or flat sandals. I tend to go for a combination of floaty shift dresses, maxi dresses, city shorts, loose-fitting midi skirts, strappy or cropped tops and playsuits.

This cute floral lightweight floaty dress is perfect for summery evenings on holiday. It is loose enough to not cling to you but is still slim fit to offer you some shape. I recommend simply adding a thin wasit belt to pinch in at the waist to give added shape and definition.
