Looking for a career in Fashion - Seminar - CFW

As part of the Cardiff Fashion Week celebrations taking place across Cardiff this week there are an abundance of seminars, beauty events, fashion showcases and styling master-classes, to cater for the taste of every budding fashionista.
One of the events that jumps out at me as a must-go-to event for anyone wanting to break into the cut-through world of fashion is a free seminar taking place in Topshop from 12-2pm on Tuesday 22 October.
This seminar, being given by some of Wales’ top textiles employers, who manufacture products for the likes of Agent Provocateur, will give you an insight into the types of jobs that are available and the skills and qualifications that they look for in new recruits. You will also be given the opportunity to find out more about Creative Skillset’s new Fashion and Textiles Apprenticeship that offers a new way for talented and enthusiastic people who want to get that first step on the career ladder.  This is the perfect go-to event for anyone wanting to not only wear fashion but create it too.

Angela Gidden – Chair of the Fashion & Textiles Forum for Wales
Eifion Griffiths – Owner of Melin Tregwynt Woollen Mill
James Mellor – Owner of AJM Sewing
