Wet weather essentials

With autumn well and truly here and the wet weather back with avengence it appears that its time to invest in some sensible, yet fashionable footwear that will protect us from the elements as we go about our daily commute, and prevent us looking like a drowned rat when we arrive in work! 

Well here is your answer. A new brand of ultra stylist wellies, that are a cross-breed of Doctor Martins and Hunter wellies, brought to us by Danish designer Ilse Jacobsen.

Available in a range of colours and designs, the boots are made from 100% natural rubber and are lined with cotton-fleece lining with a wool innersole - making them warm, comfortable and waterproof, yet also stylish - which is obviously the main objective for us fashionistas.

As part of the range, Ilse Jacobsen has also produced a line of waterproof raincoats which are soft breathable shell material with a water-repellant surface treatment. The outside of the jacket is decorative with a discreet print and reflector logo on the back and sleeves. These are perfect for walking the dog in the rain or cycling to work.
