As the Fifty Shades of Grey phenomenon continues to sweep across the nation, igniting passion in the bedroom and sending women's desire for sexual exploration sky high, we are now being presented with a line of clothing fit for the not only the bedroom, but the high street too. Three lucky apparel companies have won the licensing deal for the brand, with HYP selling the predictable hosiery, stockings and garter sets, Freeze clothing producing, knits, tees, hoodies and sleepwear - fitting in with the relaxed style of lead role and virgin Anastasia Steele in the popular novel and finally Briefly Stated will be generating the obligatory sleepwear and sex goddess style lingerie!
There is yet no words on whether any of the lines will follow the S&M theme in the first book, though with sales of whips, handcuffs and bondage sets rocketing since the release of the book, maybe they are missing a trick.
Fifty Shades of Grey has now sold more than 40 million copies worldwide, and has now out sold Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, and their is constant talk on social media and online, of who will play lead sex-god, Christian Grey and his submissive, Anastasia Steele, so this phenomenon is set to continue in the near future.
