St Davids 2 Ladies Night

So last night was the much anticipated St David's 2 ladies night where all us bloggers were invited to attend a little wine and nibble reception in Pizza Express before the event really kicked off. I took my two friends Natalie and Natalie with me as we were going to make a bit of a night of it afterwards. On arrival I was greeted by the lovely Megan and Michaela from Grayling, who do the PR for St David's 2, and were offered a glass of Rose wine. We took our seats and had our photo taken by the photographer, before a buffet of pizza, salad, dough balls and olives was put before us. This was great, as I was starving and needed a bit of food to fuel my shopping appetite, not that I need much encouragement when it comes to shopping but the food was great and certainly kept me going for the next few hours!

After we had polished off a our wine, a few slices of pizza and a dish of olives, we decided it was time to hit the shops but before we left I was presented with a St Davids 2 gift bag with a host of goodies inside including a pair of knickers from Boux Avenue - which surprisingly were in a size 8 (which is my size), a £25 gift card for St Davids 2, a Cath Kidson bag for life, a grater and some Crabtee and Evelyn sample sashes. How amazing is that!??!

So then it was time to hit the shops. With 10% off in most stores it was hard to choose where to go first. In Boux Avenue, you received a gift bag with any purchase which in it had a copy of Look magazine, 10% off Toni & Guy and some dry shampoo. In Mango, with every purchase they also gave us a very cool, purple leopard print bag for life which contained a vest top and a necklace worth at least £20. We also got 10% off MAC products in Debenhams - where i have a beauty card so had racked up £5 worth of points too, which was an additional bonus - definitely recommend getting one.

After we had exhausted ourselves looking round the shops collecting various different goody bags we headed outside where there was a big red bus offering free make-overs. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to queue up for this because we were starving again so headed to La Tasca for a bite to eat and a much needed jug of Sangrai.

John Lewis also had a special beauty event on in-store with make-overs and discounts off products. There was just so much to do and almost not enough time to do it! But all in all it was a great night though and if you missed it you certainly missed out!
