Friday style crush

I have always wanted a pair of leather shorts but was never sure whether I could quite get away with it, however I have now decided that this winter, because leather is everywhere, I am gonna to invest in a pair.  I am looking around for a proper leather pair at currently have my eye on a deep burgundy coloured pair from River Island. What I particularly like about these ones is the different colour, the deep red is really rich and will compliment a load of different garments. At £59.99 the price is really good too so could be my invest this season.

I would pair with something like my pink sheer utility shirt from Miss Selfridge
     
And a cosy chunky knit cardi (Topshop)
